HID FARGO card printing
The credential is the first thing a door reader trusts, so we treat card issuance as part of the security system. Cornerstone supplies and supports HID FARGO printers, genuine consumables and HID FARGO Connect cloud issuance, so a client prints secure staff, contractor and visitor cards in-house — encoded for the access platform on the doors.

HID FARGO HDP6600
The HDP6600 is HID’s sixth-generation retransfer printer: the image is printed onto a film and then fused to the card, so the print is edge-to-edge, 600 dpi sharp, and unaffected by the chip or antenna inside a smart card. It prints up to 230 cards an hour, warms up in under a minute, and encodes magnetic stripe, contact and contactless smart cards, proximity and RFID in the same pass.
For a government or airport issuer the security detail matters: AES-256 encryption between PC and printer, resin-scramble data protection so a used ribbon cannot be read, and a wasteless lamination design that cuts laminate cost by up to 40% while adding the holographic overlaminate that makes a card hard to forge.

A retransfer printer is only as good as the film in it. We stock and supply genuine HID FARGO consumables for the HDP6600 and the wider FARGO range — YMCK and YMCKK colour ribbons, retransfer films, holographic and clear overlaminates, cleaning kits, and blank PVC, composite and smart cards — so a card office never stops for want of a ribbon, and the printer stays under warranty.

Cloud issuance
HID FARGO Connect
FARGO Connect moves the card office into a browser. Card design, cardholder data, print queues and printer management run from one cloud dashboard, so an operator at head office can issue a card on a printer at a regional site, and a printer needs no PC or driver beside it. Data is encrypted end to end, which is why universities and hospitals use it to meet privacy obligations.
It supports the HDP6600, HDP5000e, DTC4500e and DTC1500, and integrates with access-control and HR systems so a new employee record becomes a printed, encoded card without re-keying.
