Security Center
Most control rooms grow one console at a time — a video wall here, an access-control client there, an intrusion panel on the wall. Security Center replaces that with a single platform whose modules share one map, one alarm queue and one user directory. An access-denied event, the camera covering that door and the operator’s response are all part of the same record.
The platform is built on an open architecture with a wide ecosystem of supported cameras, controllers and third-party systems, which is why we can unify Avigilon cameras, Schneider Electric access control and Senstar perimeter sensors under it on the same site.

Omnicast video management & Synergis access control
Omnicast is the video management module: live and recorded video from thousands of supported camera models, map-based monitoring, bookmarking, export and evidence management. Synergis is the access-control module: cardholder management, door schedules, anti-passback, visitor and lock-down workflows, running on a range of supported controllers rather than one proprietary line.
Deploying both under Security Center means a single cardholder record drives both a door permission and a camera-recording rule, and a single investigation timeline holds both the video and the badge events.

Security Center SaaS
For clients who do not want to own servers, Genetec offers Security Center as a subscription service: the same unified video and access-control platform delivered from the cloud, with hybrid options that keep recording on site where bandwidth, latency or policy require it. Software updates, cybersecurity hardening and capacity are handled by Genetec; the client keeps the same operator interface and the same investigation workflow.
We recommend it for multi-site estates, smaller sites that need enterprise-grade security without an IT room, and organisations moving from capital to operating budgets. For airports and critical infrastructure the on-premise deployment above remains our default.
