Senstar perimeter intrusion detection
Senstar has specialised in perimeter security for decades. We design, install and integrate three of its sensor families in Malaysia: FiberPatrol for long, critical perimeters, LM100 where detection and deterrence belong on the same fence, and 3D LiDAR for the open areas and gaps a fence sensor cannot see.

FiberPatrol FP1150
FiberPatrol sends laser pulses down a single-mode optical fibre and measures the light reflected back. Any disturbance along the cable — a climb, a cut, digging beside a buried run — changes that reflection and is located to within a few metres. Because the sensor is the cable itself, there are no powered components in the field, nothing for lightning or electromagnetic interference to affect, and the system keeps detecting even after the cable has been cut.
Senstar’s Environmentally Derived Adaptive Processing Technology (EDAPT) separates wind and rain from genuine intrusion attempts and reports multiple simultaneous intrusions, which matters on airport and utility perimeters where a single nuisance alarm every hour would be unacceptable. Spare fibres in the same cable can carry the site’s communications and networking.

Hybrid detection & intelligent lighting
Senstar LM100
LM100 puts an accelerometer-based intrusion sensor and an intelligent LED luminaire into the same fence-mounted unit. When someone tries to cut, climb or lift the fence fabric, the unit raises an alarm and can bring the lights in that zone to full brightness or strobe them — a visible deterrent at the exact point of attack, and clean illumination for the cameras covering it.
The units communicate over a self-healing wireless mesh, so a site-wide response can be coordinated without trenching data cable along the fence. It suits sites of any size, installs quickly on existing fences and offers low-light-pollution options for perimeters near housing.

Senstar 3D LiDAR
A fence sensor protects the fence. 3D LiDAR protects the space beside, behind and above it: aprons, car parks, rooftops, gates and the gaps between buildings. The sensor builds a live three-dimensional point cloud of its field of view and classifies what moves through it by size, direction and speed, so a person crossing a sterile zone raises an alarm and a bird or a passing vehicle on the road outside does not.
It works the same in darkness, rain and fog, captures shapes and distances rather than faces, and hands its alerts to the video management system as standard ONVIF events — including Senstar Symphony, Genetec and Avigilon — with tracking that follows a target across several sensors.

A perimeter is a system, not a sensor.
Zone design
We walk the fence line, define detection zones against gates, corners and terrain, and specify cable routing and processor locations.
Camera & lighting tie-in
Each zone alarm is mapped to the Avigilon or Genetec camera that covers it, so the operator sees the intrusion, not a text alert.
Nuisance-alarm tuning
Sensitivity is tuned per zone during commissioning and reviewed in the first maintenance cycle against the site’s alarm log.
